Founder's 2018 - 2 November 2018

March Past

The perfect blend of co-ordination and discipline is seen in the annual march past of Vivek High School that heralds the start of the Founder’s Week. Together,  the bright yellow, blue, green and red tee-shirts worn by the students of Gandhara, Vikramashila, Taxila and Nalanda houses, respectively along with the prim and proper white shirts of the neutral council form a spectrum of colors. Being adjudged as the best marching contingent is a matter of pride for the respective house students and teachers. It gives inspiration to the other houses and promotes healthy competition. The other houses take back with them the belief that ‘this time the best marching contingent was given to your house, next time it will be ours.’

Flexible Fitness

The students of Class 4 exhibit flexibility and strength in the form of a creative, fun-filled exercise regimen which includes stretching exercises, vaulting over rods and high poles and even rope-climbing! Agility, co-ordination, speed and power in their moves are the benefits which the students gain, when they are focused on the exercises. This puts them in charge of their own selves in an interesting and enjoyable manner. It also goes a long way in improving their energy levels and self esteem as they develop a positive and winning attitude in all their activities.

Srishti Rachna

'SRISHTI RACHNA' is the theme chosen for the field display of 240 students of classes 1 and 2. They will be performing a sequence of dances depicting the creation of Earth and the beginning of life thereafter. The performance has been ably choreographed by Ms. Ragini Kulkarni.

The various aspects of coming of life on the Earth have been beautifully interwoven through rhythmic dances. The first performance exhibits eruption of volcanoes signifying the role of molten and lava in the creation of Earth's surface. The dance following that depicts the incessant rainfall that followed to cool down the Earth surface and set the stage for the beginning of life. Henceforth, life originated in water which is beautifully depicted by the fish dance. The next dance shows the formation of forests, leading to life on land. The show culminates with the message of harmony and peace amongst all living beings on our planet.

'DO IT NOW', a song on saving the environment and our planet Earth will be presented by the Junior Wing Choir.
